About the Publication
At a time of rapid social transformation on a global scale, when digitalisation is reshaping every field from production to governance and inequalities are emerging in ever more complex forms, the role and scope of social policies have taken on historic importance. In this context, the International Congress on Social Policies, held in Sarajevo on 17–18 May 2025 under the leadership of the Association for Social and Economic Perspective (SEPDER) and hosted by the International University of Sarajevo, was an interdisciplinary gathering that aimed to make substantial contributions to the field of social policy at both theoretical and practical levels. This book of proceedings was prepared to turn the original studies presented at the congress into a lasting scholarly resource.
