At SEPDER congresses each paper goes to two independent reviewers, author details are hidden, and the scientific committee decides.
At SEPDER congresses every submission is stripped of author details and sent to two subject specialists. Reviewers know neither each other's identity nor the author's.
Review criteria
- Originality of the research question and contribution to the literature.
- Fit between the method and the research question.
- Clear and consistent presentation of findings.
- Compliance with writing and formatting rules.
Decision
If the two reviews disagree, the paper goes to a third reviewer. The scientific committee makes the final decision and results are e-mailed on the date announced on the congress page.
How long does it take?
Review takes about three weeks on average. It can take longer depending on the number of submissions; authors are informed of any delay.
