III. International Congress on Social and Economic Perspective

We are honored to invite you to the 3rd International Social Policies Congress, organized by SEPDER (Social and Economic Perspective Association) in collaboration with and supported by Oranje Instituut, Perfect University, and Vatan University, to be held in Amsterdam on November 14-15, 2026. This international congress is designed to address one of the most critical transformations of our time from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Digitalization is not only a technological change but also a profound and systemic transition process in which our economies, societies, and legal systems are being reshaped. The main theme of our congress, “Rights-Based Approaches in the Digital Age: Opportunities, Vulnerabilities, Conflicts,” addresses this transition as an integrated process that balances fundamental rights and freedoms, social inclusion, and justice.

The main aim of this congress is to develop a holistic understanding of the complex dynamics of digitalization, moving beyond narrow discussions and technology-focused approaches. Aware of the limitations of perceiving this transformation as merely a matter of data and infrastructure, the congress repositions this process fundamentally as a problem of social sciences and social policy. By creating a meeting point for sociologists, political scientists, economists, lawyers, and civil society representatives, it aims to examine the opportunities, new areas of vulnerability, and potential conflicts created by digital transformation on a global scale. Our collective goal is to provide actionable insights to overcome the challenges presented by the digital age and to produce rights-based policies, and to strengthen international partnerships.

Participation in the congress is possible both in person and online. Accepted papers will be published in ISBN-numbered abstract and full text books.
