Data Controller
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698, the data controller is the Association for Social and Economic Perspective.
Data Processed and Purposes
- Identity and contact data: name, academic title, institution, e-mail, telephone. Processed to assess your application and to contact you.
- Academic data: paper title, abstract, author details. Processed for peer review and publication.
- Payment data: the receipt you upload. Processed to confirm your participation fee. No card details are collected.
Legal Basis
Data is processed on the basis of the formation and performance of a contract, and the legitimate interests of the association.
Retention
Application records are kept for five years after the relevant congress ends and are deleted at the end of that period.
Your Rights
Under article 11 of the law you may learn whether your data is processed and request its correction, deletion or anonymisation. Please send such requests to the e-mail address on the contact page.
